The rowing trainers from Concept 2 are ideal for home, work or the gym. Everyone can train with this luxurious and comfortable rowing trainer: from beginners to experienced rowers. All rowers can be disassembled in the middle, so they take up less space. They are equipped with a training computer and an ergometer. During the training your stroke length and the strength of your stroke will be measured.
The Concept2 is a versatile rowing trainer on which everyone can train regardless of level, age, weight or condition. Rowing is for young and old an easy to learn exercise which uses all your major muscle groups, hence the term total body workout. You mainly train the muscles in calves, thighs, buttocks, back, abdomen, arms and shoulders. The resistance is built up by air resistance: the faster you row, the more resistance you cause. The rowers have an air slider, which determines how much air can enter the housing. This can be set from 1 to 10.
On the Performance Monitor, you can easily set the desired workout. You can even play games on this monitor, to challenge yourself even more.
The Model E's higher seat height makes it easier to get on and off the machine, especially if you have reduced mobility or flexibility in your knees and hips, if you have trouble keeping your balance, or if you are climbing onto the machine from a wheelchair.
