No offense, but skip this vacancy. Because in this great job you will be working full time (or at least 32 hours) with sports and technology. You will be the 3rd service technician of Fitnessapparatuur.nl! As a Service Mechanic Fitness Equipment you understand that affinity with fitness not only makes your job more fun, but you also get more out of it. And that is something we all benefit from. Well, so much for the warm-up. Let's talk business, because we are very much looking for a Service Mechanic Fitness Equipment at our office in Huizen or Zoeterwoude (it's up to you). 

Fitnessapparatuur.nl is growing fast and applications are flooding in. We can say that we have set a personal record in the past year. Our machines are now in countless households, businesses, hotels and luxury apartment complexes throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. But our machines are also in the spotlight in showbiz! Our treadmills are used on the set of GTST and at 3FM Serious Request. And guess what, we are not done yet! Collaborations with insurance companies, the business market, rehabilitation specialists; our ambitions still reach far. We need your (technical) muscle power to achieve them!

You can probably already picture it, but we have a lot going on here: quote requests for large and small events, customers calling with questions, keeping track of our sales channels (our webshop but also Marktplaats, Ebay and Amazon), incoming chats and e-mails that ask for (re)action, relationships with the Media Park that need to be maintained. And that's the commercial side!

Of course, many of our customers have maintenance contracts, rental fitness equipment needs servicing and we get a lot of requests for preventive and corrective maintenance. If your skillset already includes experience with Technogym, LifeFitness, StarTrac or other brands, we will be thrilled. However, it is not a must! Technical insight is more important but experience is definitely a bonus.

What you need to have at your disposal
Your communication skills should be on point, both verbally and in writing. With your empathic, technical and social skills, you are a fine point of contact for all our customers and relations; from consumers to companies and institutions. You have a feel for how to react and a knack for solving impossibilities.

To make sure everything runs smoothly, you need to be precise, stress-resistant and able to keep an overview at all times. We think that a technical education/background is necessary to fulfil this role, but we are certainly open to being convinced otherwise. Passion, enthusiasm and ambition are what we value most.

Last, but not least, we welcome a good dose of ambition. We are a growing organisation and we do everything in our power to let our people grow with us. Figuratively speaking, because although we spend a lot of time in the Formula 1 playseats, vitality is very important to us. Anyway, you can always boost the latter in our fitness machines in our showroom. And that's a good thing, because a race against your colleagues is almost impossible to turn down!
